On Friday April 28th we had the privilege of providing another great Photo Booth experience for the Drake University All Alumni Tent Party at the Drake Relays.
The Drake Relays is regarded as one of the top track and field events in the United States attracting thousands of people to the Drake campus each April and serving as a second homecoming of sorts for the Drake community.
While the track and field events were going on across the street at Drake Stadium, alumni were gathered at the All Alumni Tent party catching up with old classmates, playing corn hole, grabbing beverages from the Thirsty Pigs, enjoying the wonderful food choices from the Two Ol’ Chefs and Karam’s Mediterranean Grill food trucks, listening to music from DJ Chop Shop, but most of all enjoying taking photos in our Open Air Photo Booth.
Our photo booth was setup under the All Alumni Tent with a blue portrait backdrop that perfectly complimented the Drake University blue for some amazing pictures. Drake also provided their own bulldog heads and dog bones as props for a more personalized experience.
While at the event we received some very high praise from guests and gave out a number of business cards to potential new clients.
One of the first attendees to the booth was absolutely thrilled we were there, she had heard of us but it was her first time in our booth! Some of the crew from The Thirsty Pigs said that our Photo Booth would be a huge hit at RAGBRAI.
We even asked for a business card from the events coordinator at Wells Fargo, because our booth would be something that their employees would enjoy. While working Mallory, one of our staff, said she had the most incredible beef short rib grilled cheese from the food truck Two ‘Ol Chefs.
It was a great afternoon hanging out and photographing all the alumni at the event and we can’t wait for next year to do it all again!
