Smiling Dog Entertainment was honored to be part of the 2024 Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden’s Champagne and Chocolate Fundraiser on November 15 with one of our Classic Plus Photo Booth Experiences.
The Champagne and Chocolate Fundraiser is a festive and enlightening evening in support of the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. This bright and energetic celebration was the perfect experience to welcome the holiday season. Guests delighted in an elegant gala event and enjoyed the sights and sounds, scrumptious food and drink, all things sweet, and eclectic entertainment.
Champagne & Chocolate is the Garden’s premier event raising vital funds to benefit the outreach, education, horticulture, and community programs.
This is the second year that Smiling Dog Entertainment has been invited to participate in this event and we’ve enjoyed being part of it.
We had a great spot, with a beautiful backdrop, in the Gardener’s Show House (as seen in the picture). Each guest that visited the photo booth had the opportunity to walk away with a 4″x6″ print of their photo booth images and the ability to download, share to social media, email/text their photos from a live online gallery.
In addition to providing some great photos for guests I also had the pleasure of meeting Meredith, the owner of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Valley Junction, who taught me a little bit about the art of tempering chocolate and creating chocolate covered strawberries.
